White mountains, frozen lakes, magical forests, and an enchanting atmosphere await you in Torres del Paine National Park.

The winter season runs from June to August in the Southern Hemisphere, and here in the southernmost part of the world, you have paradise before your eyes with some of the most beautiful views you’ll ever find.

Winter temperatures can be quite harsh, dropping to -20°C on some days. Frequent snowfalls cover the landscape in white, giving you the feeling of being at the edge of the world.

Keep in mind that days are shorter during winter, with only 6 to 8 hours of daylight. This allows you to witness beautiful sunrises around 9 AM and sunsets by 5 PM.

If you want to visit this frozen paradise, the best way is by air. We recommend flying to Punta Arenas, which has more frequent flights to the Magallanes region and Chilean Antarctic. From there, the safest way to reach Puerto Natales is by land with professional drivers. In these conditions, it’s wise to consider travel insurance.

Once in Puerto Natales, you will be just 2 hours away from Torres del Paine National Park. During winter, you can enjoy various activities that offer an unforgettable experience in stunning landscapes.

Dress in layers to stay warm and comfortable. Be prepared for cold temperatures and sudden weather changes. Always carry essential gear, including waterproof clothing and boots. If you’re trekking, you NEED a certified guide to enhance your experience and ensure safety on the trails. Enjoy the stunning winter landscapes and keep your camera ready for breathtaking views!
